The ISIDORe consortium is pleased to announce that its responsiveness call for proposals, to support scientists with an interest in SARS_CoV_2 has reached its funding capacities due to many excellent applications and a large number of selected projects.
For the time being, the consortium will review the last applications received and focus on the implementation of the selected projects.
By giving scientists access to the whole extent of our state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge services, advanced equipment and expertise, in an integrated way and with a common goal, we will accelerate the generation of new knowledge and intervention tools to enhance Europe’s capacity for controlling (re)emerging and epidemic infectious diseases, starting with the COVID-19 pandemic.
To this end, our call for proposals opened in June 2022 and was given a substantial budget. As our budgetary capacity has now been reached, we are closing this call for proposals as planned.
Additionally, we are looking into the possibilities of re-financing this call for proposals and reopening the application process. We will keep the scientific community informed in the near future.
